Introduction

This also means that you want to definitely want to take care of your household item. Well, we are here to help you out. Scroll down to the heading that pertains to your Leigh Country product and let’s get started!

Char-Log

Of all our furniture lines, our original Char-log collection has consistently been the most popular. It goes through a patented charring and curing system which gives it the dark and rustic look. If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather and gray. To keep that dark, rich brown, we suggest sanding any parts that may have been affected by moisture and that a light lacquer coating of a dark walnut (or light walnut depending on how charred your furniture is) be applied every 4 to 6 months depending on the seasons. In addition, use an exterior poly-urethane product that features a clear satin or semi-gloss finish and a fast drying process.
During long periods of non-use, store furniture in covered and dry place. For the least maintenance, use under covered area.

Aspen

The Aspen series is like Char-Log just not as burnt. If left untreated, the wood will naturally weather and gray. To keep that light, natural look, we suggest sanding any parts that may have been affected by moisture and that a light lacquer coating of an exterior poly-urethane product that features a clear satin or semi-gloss finish and a fast drying process be applied every 4 to 6 months depending on the seasons.
During long periods of non-use, store furniture in covered and dry place. For the least maintenance, use under covered area.

Wooden Coolers

Our wooden coolers with either galvanized steel or plastic polyurethane lining can be cleaned using a solution of mild soap and warm water. Be sure to rinse with hot soapy water and drain completely. If there is a tough stain, use baking soda and water to remove. Remove odors with a diluted solution of chlorine bleach and water. If an odor persists, wipe interior with a cloth saturated with vanilla extract, then leave the cloth in the cooler overnight. We know it sounds far-fetched, but it really does work. Always air dry with the lid open before storing.
During long periods of non-use, store furniture in covered and dry place. For the least maintenance, use under covered area.

Metal Coolers

Our metal coolers with galvanized steel lining can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner for the exterior. For the interior, clean the cooler with a solution of mild soap and warm water.
